Here are a few ways to free up hard disk space on your PS4:

Go to Settings > System Storage Management > Applications. Here, you can see how much space each game and app takes up. Select unwanted games/apps and press Options on your controller, then choose Delete.

Manage Saved Data
Game saves can take up a surprising amount of space.
Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage. You can choose to delete individual saves or entire game saves.

Important: If you plan to play the game again later, consider backing up your saves to a USB drive using the Saved Data on USB Storage Device option.
Clear Capture Gallery
Screenshots and video clips you've captured can accumulate over time.

Upgrade the Hard Drive of PS4
If you have an external hard drive formatted for PS4, you can transfer games to it to free up space on the internal drive. Go to Settings > Storage > System Storage > Applications. Select a game and press Options on your controller, then choose Move to Extended Storage.
